7 Reasons the U.S. Education System Is Failing!

Recently, today actually, I saw a post of your video on Facebook that detailed a quick question posed to scholars regarding BASIC social and historic facts, events plus the people who govern our country. The results were astounding understandably! Abject failure with an inability to name or identify ANY with the people, places and events. Let me repeat… NONE.

The formal education system within the U.S. principal purpose is to meet the requirements of the industrial revolution by offering basic education for the masses. Pretty simple right? So why one thing we do not recognize or don’t acknowledge that the stress are different today? There has not been a calculable redefinition or evolution from the educational system since. This is scary mainly because it will define the failure of the country step-by-step and bit-by-bit until we’re also reduced into a social variety of ignorance.

Let’s examine what causes it and solutions.

1. Closed for Business!

Schools find their existence linked with community standards and financial restraints in line with the community support… or not enough. The result is schools are closing with an alarming rate throughout the country. Wait, think about education? Well, there may be so little time for your that taking good care of them takes priority over teaching them.

Secondarily, because on the constraints of federally-mandated guidelines, the youngsters are taught inside a cookie-cutter style standard of personality-limiting, creative-minimizing and individually-restrictive strategies to get them to their adulthood. Basic education with basic performance that aligns children to basic standards that align with everyone else’s basic needs. Sad which is done in crowded classrooms where teachers have to “teach” more children than one person could address. How effective is always that?

3. If You Do What You’ve Always Done… You’ll Get What You’ve Always Gotten!

How will any of us expect our to excel when their parents are minimally educated. One must be aware that this cycle of poor education will produce more poorly educated children who can produce more poorly-educated children and many others and so forth. Parents are incredibly busy struggling to create a living today because of the poor economy or a deficiency of opportunity that there exists little time to tackle their children’s education in the home let alone at college. Involvement is additionally critical specially when the parents are minimally educated since they lack the foresight and experience to compliment a young person to your right path. The result is a continually-repeated system that fails students and undermines our country’s future. It matters not you may be poor and struggling to generate a living it doesn’t allow for time for you to teach your kids at your home OR whether your well-heeled and fight to maintain a career it doesn’t allow for time to focus on your kids at your home. 4. Once Stated Always Abated!

I once was told that I was stupid. I was told that I could never learn because I lacked principle ability to understand or comprehend most things that a normal person was anticipated to know. Can you imagine? Well, today I am in pursuit of your doctorate in education. Highly educated holding several degrees and formally famous for my teaching abilities and gratification as an educator. So there, take that!

If a kid is to be challenged next the child has got to recognize their worth and value as a possible individual. EVERY child is talented and gifted in something and will be renowned for it immediately and consistently. Oh yes, failure happens that is part with the lesson at the same time. Individualized learning platforms and initiatives are crucial for the support and way forward for educational success. The talented and gifted programs require that a youngster be recognized and advanced this can special gift instead from the initiative being released to ALL students. I believe that EVERY child gets the opportunity to reveal their gift if given the possibility to allow it to reveal itself. Why limit other children’s possibility to excel because someone didn’t recognize their talents? Beyond me.

This not enough diversity in basic education is driven by personal prejudices along with the nuances of social conformity and economic availability in a faculty district. Shameful that each student doesn’t need the same possiblity to be famous for their inevitable contribution to society.

5. There’s a Step on the Prep!

According for the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and also the U.S. Education Department, 80% of the high school students graduate and student graduation rates are with an all-time high. This sounds great don’t you think? Well, no it does not because about 80% of high school graduation seniors cannot pass basic proficiency exams or read at the basic level. The fundamental and core foundation for just a successful future is based on their power to read and comprehend which is failing miserably. Because of the politically-correct mindset as well as an unwillingness to admit that were failing were passing kids without prejudice. What is the dynamic here? Money, acknowledgment, standards, social constraint?

With less than 40% of graduating students competent to perform basic reading and math skills, what is going to their future appear like? Poor at best because they may be set up for failure and aren’t educated enough to find out it. They are not prepared for any area of life aside from future education without the essential skills to understand. It seems a road to socialism.

6. Teacher to Preacher!

As student education grows more technology-supported so must teacher innovation education. A once-proud career, teachers are selecting more industrial careers using basic educational achievements as it pays countless is less restricting. A not enough qualified teachers translates to your lack of quality education from under qualified teachers. The cultural change in classrooms demands an academic transfer of recognizing and utilizing qualified teachers who must meet higher-level standards before being permitted to teach.

Alas, distance education take the personalization from your process, individualism through the practice and makes for lesser-educated teachers to execute office-like academics rather than teaching-like practices. Poorly educated teachers who’re not held to your highest standards will produce poorly-educated students who’ll perpetuate precisely the same. Pay teachers better and demand more from their site and we will produce quality educated people. There is something askew when ball players make millions and teachers make nothing! Time to rethink that one.

7. Girls Will Be Girls and Boys Will Be Boys!

Or do they really? There is a huge nationwide divide inside the gender makeup in the student population today in schools. The STEM program is experiencing a narrowing variety of student diversity since recent examinations of student diversity in education. Formerly male student dominated academics and careers are changing to your more female dominated academic showing. Women are now competent to perform too or much better than their male counterparts in science, technology engineering and math… previously neglected and they’ve got always had the capacity but unrecognized or acknowledged.

A globally competitive market demands equal and qualified individuals to carry out and defend the proper of opportunity no matter gender, race, creed or social standing. As we develop our more-diverse communities, so should we develop our academically-driven future with better-educated people… regardless of what!
